With so many different online chat and collaboration systems to use, it can be bewildering as to which one to go with. Of course, you cannot control which systems your clients are using so you will probably have to dip in and out of a few like MS Teams, Zoom and Google.
However, its best to try and focus on one system to make it easier and more manageable. One of the main front runners (and our recommendation) would be Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams is part of the Microsoft 365 family of services (Email, files, Teams among others) so its governed by the same login credentials and systems making it much easier to work with. Its also one of the most widely used meeting systems around today and works on almost any device and platform (think Windows, Mac, Android, computer, tablet, phone and etc). With Teams you can pretty much do everything you need, all from one app which is so much better than having to use multiple apps and systems at the same time. You can text, chat or video meet with people inside and outside your organisation and you can even make normal phone calls (inbound and out) all from within the Teams app. On top of this there are loads of useful apps you can run within Teams such as ‘Planner/Tasks’ to keep track of group jobs and projects and ‘Bookings’ to manage your company staff calendars and appointments. There are so many to choose from with many from well-known providers including Zoom, Asana, Zendesk and etc.
